# Mini Leaderboard FAQ

## General

#### Why am I not showing up on the leaderboard?

There are four possible reasons, in order of likelihood:

1. **Your FUYO XP is below 100.** This is the most common reason. You need at least 100 XP to appear. Check your XP balance on the leaderboard page — if it shows less than 100, keep trading across multiple days to build it up.
2. **You have no resolved trades yet.** Trades only count once the market they are in has settled. If all your trades are on still-open markets, you won't appear until those markets resolve.
3. **Your score is zero.** This can happen if you haven't met the minimum stake threshold (1 USD total) or minimum trade count (1 resolved trades).
4. **Your trades were voided.** Unconfirmed trades at the time of market settlement are marked as Void and excluded from scoring entirely.

***

#### When does the leaderboard update?

The leaderboard updates **automatically every time a market settles** — there is no fixed daily or hourly refresh. If a batch of markets resolves at 14:30 UTC, rankings shift at 14:30 UTC. Your score reflects the most recently settled state of all your resolved trades.

***

#### My score went down. How?

Your score is calculated relative to all other traders. If another trader's score rises significantly (they had a batch of markets settle in their favour), your rank may drop even if your own score hasn't changed. Your absolute score can also change as your own trades mix shifts — for example, if a string of losing trades resolves, your profit percentage and absolute profit will fall.

***

#### Does it matter whether I win or lose?

Yes, but not as much as you might think. Winning improves your Efficiency Score and Profit Score, but **Consistency Score (worth 50%)** is entirely about how regularly you trade and how many trades you place per active day — not whether those trades win. A trader who places 8 losing trades every day for two weeks will still outrank someone who placed one winning trade and disappeared.

***

## Weekly vs all-time

#### Does the weekly leaderboard reset every week?

Yes. The weekly leaderboard covers the current UTC week (Monday 00:00 → next Monday 00:00). When Monday arrives, it starts fresh. Your all-time leaderboard keeps accumulating and never resets.

***

#### My weekly rank and all-time rank are different. Why?

The formula is identical for both views, but the trades counted are different. Your weekly score only includes trades resolved during the current UTC week. Your all-time score includes every resolved trade across your full history. If you had a great streak two weeks ago but a slower current week, your all-time rank may be higher than your weekly rank.

***

#### Can I rank on both weekly and all-time at the same time?

Yes. They are separate leaderboards. You can be #3 on weekly and #12 on all-time simultaneously, or any other combination.

## Score and ranking

#### I have a higher profit percentage than someone ranked above me. Why are they winning?

Profit percentage (ROI) is only part of the **Efficiency Score**, which is worth 40% of your total. And even within Efficiency Score, your ROI is scaled down if you have fewer than 8 trades — so a 500% return across 2 trades scores lower than a 150% return across 20 trades.

The trader above you likely has a higher **Consistency Score**, which is worth 50% and rewards daily trade frequency and streak length. A trader placing 6–8 trades per day will outscore a trader with better ROI who only places 1–2 trades per session.

***

#### I made more absolute profit than someone above me. How are they ranked higher?

Absolute profit feeds into the **Profit Score**, but that component is intentionally weighted at only 10% of your total score. The leaderboard is designed so that large capital alone cannot buy a top rank. Consistency and trading efficiency matter more. The trader ranked above you almost certainly has a stronger Consistency Score or Efficiency Score — or both.

***

#### Does staking more USD per trade help my rank?

Indirectly, yes — larger stakes increase your absolute profit (if you win), which feeds the Profit Score component. But Profit Score is only 10% of your total. You will see a much larger improvement by trading more frequently per session than by simply increasing trade size.

***

#### What is the best strategy to improve my rank?

In order of impact:

1. **Trade every day** — keep your streak alive (active days require at least 1 USDT of resolved stake).
2. **Place multiple trades per session** — aim for 6–8 trades per active day to maximise your daily trades frequency rating.
3. **Hit at least 8 total trades** — below this threshold, your Efficiency Score is significantly reduced regardless of your ROI.
4. **Try to be profitable** — winning trades improve your Efficiency and Profit scores, but consistent losing traders still rank above occasional winning ones if the frequency is there.

## Fuyo XP and the 100 XP gate

#### How do I earn FUYO XP?

Fuyo XP is earned from resolved trades. Every eligible resolved trade (minimum 1 USD stake) contributes XP based on the square root of your stake amount, multiplied by the market's XP multiplier. You also earn:

* A **hold bonus** (+10% extra XP) for staying on the same side of a market throughout the day
* A **streak bonus** that multiplies your XP based on consecutive active days
* A **daily bonus** of 10 XP if you hit at least 1 USD of eligible resolved stake on a given day

{% hint style="info" %}
Fuyo XP is capped at 1,000 per UTC day.
{% endhint %}

***

#### Is Fuyo XP the same as my leaderboard score?

No. They are completely separate systems.

* **Fuyo XP** is a reward that accumulates over time and is minted to your wallet. It never resets.
* **Leaderboard score** is a ranking signal that combines consistency, efficiency, and profit. Weekly score resets each Monday.

Having a lot of XP does not directly raise your leaderboard score — but the activities that earn XP (trading regularly, placing multiple trades, building streaks) are the same activities that improve your leaderboard score.

***

#### My XP balance keeps growing but I'm still not on the leaderboard. What's wrong?

Check whether your **minted** XP has reached 100. The leaderboard gate reads your *minted* XP balance — XP that has been confirmed and sent to your wallet on-chain. If your XP was earned recently, minting may still be processing after the last settlement. It will appear on the next resolved market.

If you believe there is a discrepancy between your earned XP and your minted balance, please reach out in the [Fuyo Markets Telegram.](https://t.me/fuyomarketsofficial)

***

#### Will the 100 XP minimum ever change?

The threshold may be adjusted as the platform from time to time. Any changes will be announced in advance and reflected in this documentation. The current threshold of 100 XP is calibrated based on our user's feedback.

***

## Suspicious activity

#### I see a new wallet in the top 10 with only 1–2 trades. Is something wrong?

Under the latest formula, this should be significantly harder than before. The Consistency Score (50% of ranking) requires sustained daily trading activity — a wallet with 1–2 trades will have a near-zero Consistency Score. Additionally, the 100 XP gate prevents any account with minimal trading history from appearing on the leaderboard at all.

If you notice an account that appears to violate these rules, please report it in the [Fuyo Markets Telegram](https://t.me/fuyomarketsofficial) with the wallet address and we will investigate.

***

#### Can I use multiple wallets to farm the leaderboard?

Each wallet must independently meet the 100 XP threshold, the trade count gate, and the consistency requirements. Splitting activity across wallets reduces each wallet's consistency score rather than multiplying it. This is by design — the formula rewards depth of engagement from a single account, not breadth across many.
